Students have the opportunity to be part of more than 20 varied competition-based activities annually. Both Provo Canyon campuses at Orem and Provo are part of the program. The Intramurals program is part of the school's Division of Clinical Services. If the students find any hurdles to their participation, then they can contact the Intramural Director. For obtaining more information on the events or for any help, the students could communicate with the intramural office.

The participation in the events is voluntary and students are selected on the basis of their enthusiasm.

The advantages of participation could be as follows:

•  The activities could aid in the process of treatment.
•  The students could learn new skills by learning new sports.
•  Opportunity to meet people from different cultures.
•  Testing the physical and mental ability of the students.
•  Providing a change from routine.

Arranging any team-sporting event shall have a league structure in place. This shall include four league games followed by a tournament to decide the divisional champions. The improvement and expansion of the Provo Canyon School Intramural Program mainly depends on the involvement of students. Suggestions to improve the effectiveness of the program are welcome. The main aim of the program is provide as many different types of recreational activities as possible. The activities play their part in developing an adolescent emotionally, socially, individually, physically and intellectually. Having a competitive spirit is encouraged for a healthy experience.
